"the infinity jacuzzi is damn cool! its damn cool! its damn cool!" that's how excited baby was. and the next thing i know, she's jumping up and down on the bed in the room. bintan's a great place to chill and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. nirwana's ambience is just right, serene and poetic. the staff at the resort were extremely polite, greeting us everytime we crossed paths and even gave us a free cake.

Hello people! Its been a really long time since i've blogged.. Was kinda too lazy to write anything at all. The holidays have been great so far, with lots of excitement and new things happening in my life. I'm glad that FOC is over.. that took up quite a lot of time. I've stopped working too, actually I haven't been working for the whole holidays. Slacking and clubbing and spending loads of moolah. Bad bad bad. Well at least I got myself a job at the coming matric fair. I've got one more Bangkok trip to complete, and that more or less sums up the vacation for me. I dread going back to school.. but yet the thought of being able to start on design again excites me.

In case you people haven't realized, I have a new girl in my life :) Dolly Er, I love you so much much much! This girl is absolutely fantastic. She makes me laugh everyday with her random comments, doesn't like using public toilets (just like me), likes eating as much as I do, and has a mole on her forehead too! What more can one ask for in a girlfriend?

haven't been posting for awhile.. so here i am! finally the long awaited break is here. three freakin months of holiday!! free from gehry, mies and whoever all u freakin architects! been partying like crazy.. zouk mos zouk mos zouk. i swear i'm gonna get liver cirrhosis at the age of 30 man. i absolutely love the progress package. extra money in my pocket, totally out of the blue. its about time to cut down on the clubbing.. especially when work's already started for me. too much clubbing makes one sick, especially when one comes into contact with those beautiful trans in zouk. as hot as they look, they're chicks with dicks man. i swear there's one that looks like fiona xie! even better! but when they open their mouths its like talking to fiona with an extremely bad sore throat. kissed. smiled at. rubbed against. those trans are violating us like we're cheap whores. i've been talking to my friend and i realized that i've been single for more than half a year now.. people used to say "eugene u change ur gfs like u change ur underwear." i say bullshit. however, i did try my best to be sentimental and all, sweet and lovey dovey, only to end up breaking hearts. i've finally came to realize that maybe this is the kinda life that i wanna lead. at least for now. settling down just isn't my cup of tea at this point of time. let alone when school starts.. all those sleepless nights and lack of quality time spent with her.. my next gf's gonna get hell from me man. architects are eccentric. random. unpredictable. i totally agree on that point.

OMFG. my all time favourite character is finally back in the freakin show!! she's still as lovely as ever, and a hundred times sweeter! she actually helped seth get into a school of design near brown so that he can be near summer. like wtf? she's so much nicer than summer la. anyway, 2 down, 3 more to go! and all 3 are open book! WOOHOO! today's paper was pretty good. i have to say, studying for a whole week does make a HUGE difference compared to studying like 2 days before, even when you've only gone for 2 freakin lectures for the module the entire semester. its a saturday night and i'm stuck at home reading my notes. how pathetic is that. at least there's arsenal vs spurs on espn tonight. i can't wait for the freakin papers to end. after which i'm gonna hibernate for a couple of days before hunting for a job. office or nightlife? that is the question. office affair or midnight rendezvous? that is the issue. cheers people.

i fuggin love school. its the god damn reading week and i'm in school everyday. here's what i do everyday if i do stay at home.

A bright sunday afternoon should be well spent at the beach, catching a movie in town followed by some shopping, or just bumming around with friends. Not lying in bed the whole day, letting the sunshine go to waste. As much as i'd love to indulge myself in all these wonderful activities, i simply can't find the mood to. coughing like a patient with hepatitis didn't help much. crestfallen like a lovefool who just lost the ability to love kinda sums it all up. period.

The moment i set my eyes on you, there was this funny feeling inside me that made me wanna get to know u better. everyone who's reading this blog knows what a big bastard i am. all this never ever applied to u, coz i never had any ill intentions when it comes to you. all i wanted was a chance. i guess you can blame it on my stubborness. ive always thought that if i was patient enough, some day, just some day, my efforts might pay off. guess i'm just being silly.

yeah yeah i'm back again. decided to do some something about this empty space of mine instead if just leaving it to rot. thought it might be a pretty good space to rant and vent my frustrations :) finally year 1 is over!!! you non architecture students have no fucking idea how big this is to us. being introduced to a completely foreign course where the tutors hardly teach us anything isn't exactly what one would expect for a tertiary education. now lemme share with u some meaningful quotes that i've heard throughout the year.

"Knock knock, who's there, Me, Me who, Me Siam." - Hong guan, my beloved studio mate who never fails to amaze us with his lame jokes at 6am in the morning.

Well there's plenty more where that came from. Check out the pic of my studio on the day of submission. Trust me, its worse than it looks. Motherfucking warzone i tell ya. Coke and tea everywhere, leftovers lying on the tables, i'm surprised the roaches didn't come knocking.

Anyways, had our studio dinner and ktv session last night. It was a really nice outing with everyone there except for stupid ivan. i'm gonna wallop him for that. i HAVE to tell rant about dinner at the suntec marche. its the freakin epitome of sheer incompetence in the service line caused by the employment of amateur boors. it all began with us entering the restaurant and sitting down at the table reserved for us when a malay waiter interrupted us.

"err, sorry ah, this table cannot sit. reserved." - you don't sit on a fucking table u idiot.

"yeah i know its reserved, my friend called in to make a reservation this afternoon. its our table."

upon hearing what i said, the dude ran off to look for his apparent "senior" to come negotiate with us.

"excuse me sir, we don't take reservations on public holidays." - so my friend spoke to a fucking ghost?

"i know you don't but your staff failed to inform us when we called and even assured us of a table. so are you saying its our fault that your employees are unsure of their duties?" - u want us to eat off the floor? we've already got our food u fucking moron.

"i'm not saying its your fault, but the table's already taken."

"taken by who? you just said there's no reservations today and i don't see a group of 15 people walking around ordering food? if those people are unhappy, they can come talk to us themselves and we'll move away. But the fact is, this table isn't even taken!" - jonathan, my studio mate.

We decided to move to another table to shut them up. It was at this point of time that the imbeciles went beyond the line.

"can you help us move our food?" - jonathan repeating himself a couple of times due to the ignorance of the retarded waiter

"can lah can lah, ask nicely SIA. you look pissed. but can ask nicely right."

WHEN I HEARD THAT, I WANTED TO PUNCH THAT RETARD. We were totally dumbstrucked. What ever gave him the freakin right to talk to customers like that? Not only were they unreasonable, lacked communication skills, and plenty of IQ and EQ, they're also too stupid to realize that we're the god damn motherfucking paying customers?!?!? LIKE HELLO. We're the ones who are paying your $4.50/hr pathetic pay. Imbeciles. Urgh.

hello people.. its been a long time since ive posted. i created this blog for a certain someone, for us to display our pictures instead of just storing it in the computer all the time. i created this blog to vent my frustration and liking, my love hate relationship with architecture. i created this blog for silly and bored people like nicole to tag it but i dunno why the tagboard just refuses to work on my blog. oh well, i've created this blog for many things.. but many things have changed.

its the beginning of a new sem and ive just finished my 1st assignment.. *scape@orchard. its a group assignment to design a youth park behind cineleisure.. how cool is tt? anyway its the 1st week of school.. we're suppose to have introduction lectures.. not stay in school on a friday night with an uber lack of sleep! but nonetheless, it was really fun. all the talking cock and winning eleven sessions in studio makes it all more interesting. its a great chance for my new studio to get to know each other more. yeah we all have new studio mates and new tutors every semester and it just so happens tt my tutor this sem is somehow more inclined to the feminine side. good or bad? u decide.

its been some time since ive posted pictures online too huh. ive progressed quite a bit ever since my stupid ugly zoo. came up with a design tt im really proud of in the end and managed to do pretty good as well. i just hope everything goes smoothly for this sem too... coz i dun have tt certain someone behind me for support anymore. behind every succssful guy, there's always a woman. i've lost mine, and i've never felt worse than this before.

harlooooo. i'm back once again. i've received complains from a certain blog-obsessed someone that my blog's boring coz its all about architecture. well i'm not gonna change that haha. anyway for those who didnt i flew to bkk over the wkend for my school field trip and now i'm back! the place's pretty awesome, a mix of the contemporary and the traditional. shall post a couple of interesting pics to elaborate more. the shopping there is sheer madness i tell u. people shop shop shop shop shop shop shop all day long! and the food's like dirt cheap! definitely an ideal choice for a short holiday. its just a pity i couldnt have my baby with me throughout the trip... she would have loved to come to bkk again right dear? its ok baby now i'm back safe and sound with plenty of nice gifts for u! can't wait to see u again..

HELLO!! i'm back!! i bet u people must be thinking "wtf is wrong with this eugene. first he starts a blog with a tagboard that doesnt work. then he refuses to post anything at all." i've been really busy this past 2 weeks. first it was drawing the zoo, now its building the zoo. can u believe it? they gave us 2 weeks to draw the fucking thing and 1 bloody week to build it? i dunno if its my passion, but i find it pretty fun. even if it means staying in school till 11pm everyday, and on some days, 6 fucking am in the morning. just nice to see the sun rise and have a nice mac's breakfast. NUS archi is the epitome of stress. seriously. all u doctors out there better thank your lucky asses. u guys earn more money than architects without having to go through all this shit. u know the materials i bought for this stupid zoo already cost me $100+? i bet everyone's heard about the high drop out rate for this course.. i can assure you its true. its only been like 3 weeks of school and there's already a girl from my studio who dropped this course and 2 from studio 1 that opted out as well. i dunno but the rest of the studios but i'm pretty sure there's more to come and i'm gonna make sure its not gonna be me. oh well, at least there's a brighter side to this course. i'm gonna be flying off to bangkok!! BKK!! bed supper club! shopping! dream on. dun think we'll even have the time man. gotta take plenty of pics of palaces and temples and rush out bloody report. but im gonna make sure i'll buy lots of nice things back for bb, just like she did for me. and lots of clothes for myself hahaha! :) love love bb i bet ure reading this.. hug hug.

my wonderful work. after many days of measuring and getting my palms stained with carbon marks, i'm like finally 2 days away from the dateline and nowhere near completion. this is crazy i tell u. all the intricate details that have to be included. i might finally have to stay over tmr night in the infamous studio to finish up on my work.. i really can't work for this assignment to be over. i know there's gonna be plenty more to come but at least i'll finally have some time for my bb.. poor girl.. though she has her own work to do but i guess she's really feeling the strain on the relationship.. dun worry bb we'll work through this together k? things will get better.. well.. just take this as a process to your taitai life in the future k? i wanna do so many things.. like go to fcuk to check out if they have new clothes.. pass my driving and zoom around singapore.. watch movies and eat eat eat.. and most of all spend time with my bb.. sigh. u know i already have one friend in my studio who broke down and started crying? i'm praying for the best man..

damn i hate the zoo. i HATE HATE HATE the zoo. woke up early in the morning and it started pouring cats and dogs. and i thought the entrance was small. on the contrary.. it's freakin freakin HUGE. GARGANTUAN. GINORMOUS!!! take a look at the floor plan and you'll know what i'm talking bout. spent half a day there taking measurements of everything we could find. doors. planks. tiles. ramps. stairs. ponds. FUCK! i'm going crazy. had to go back to studio to draft a lil before i can finally go home to get some rest.. archi is indeed a killer course.

wow wee. my first post. decided to have a blog of my own to post my rants and unhappiness. i kinda just recovered from the damn flu virus and feeling dead tired. can u imagine? lectures that end at 9pm? while my friends in smu are like having 3 day wks? guess that's the price i have to pay for this course. but according to bb the 2004 aki cohort achieved full employment. morale boosting fact. the datelines for this course is unbelievable. while my friends haven't even received any assignments, i'm already starting on my 2nd designment, which is due next wk. wonderful, i'm going to the zoo early in the morning to measure the dimensions of the bloody entrance. screw kerry hill. tt's the architect who designed the entrance. y can't he just do with a plain and simple entrance...
